Setting up Google Tag Manager can be quite a tedious task. Even if you are a technical person, it will take a long time. For non-technical people, it can be kind of hard to know what to select. In Consent, we have made it easy for you. On the dashboard, select the site where you want to implement it. Click on Advanced. Click on Google GTM. You will enter this wizard. Now click the Sign in with Google button. Select your account. Click Continue. Then select the site or the container. It selects the default workspace. If you are a bit more technical, you can create a new Consent workspace. But for this purpose and for most purposes, just select the default. Then click on Next. And now the magic happens. If you want to use Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, LinkedIn Insights, Pinterest, Snapchat or TikTok, you can set it all up in here. For the test purpose here, let's say the key for Google Analytics is 12345678. For Google Ads, you will have the conversion ID and the conversion label. You will find this information. You can see all the information that you need to find on each step. So it's very easy. If you want all of them, just simply put in all the data. Once you're done, click Next. Then just click Apply Changes. As you can see here, we have selected Consent, which is always selected and then Google Analytics and Google Ads Conversion. And then we just wait, it takes about a minute or two. Now it's done. Then you can go in and see the changes in Google Tag Manager. We can do that here in Google Tag Manager. Select your account, Test account. What you can see here is that it adds the template. It adds variables: Conversion ID, Conversion Label, ConsentCookie, Google Measurement ID and the Website ID. It creates the trigger and sets up the Consent CMP. It adds the conversion linker. It sets up the Google tag. The tag is set with Ad Storage or Analytics Storage. So that's it, just press publish. Then you're done.
