If you wish to utilize server-side tagging with Google Tag Manager, you'll need to make a few adjustments to the Consent banner settings. This applies to WordPress, but it’s relevant for all platforms. Simply press the change settings button. Now, for Conzent itself, we implement server-side tagging, which means that We have not entered a Google Tag Manager ID. And the data layer remains unchanged. Therefore, the only thing you need here is the website key. For WordPress, we recommend using a plugin called Code Snippets. Then we will add three snippets. One for server-side tagging, Another for server-side tagging No script. We use Stape IO, which has a persistent server-side cookie. The only difference is that instead of the Conzent Plugin managing Google Tag Manager settings You will be setting all the Google Tag Manager Server Side Tagging settings manually. So whether you use Code Snippets or any other plugin, It doesn't really matter; You just need to implement it as described in the guide and then use Google Tag Manager as you normally would.
